Charles Bargue is mostly remembered for his 'Cours de dessin', one of the most influential classical drawing courses conceived in collaboration with Jean-Léon Gérôme. Here are 69 scans of the original prints, in high resolution, available for download. These are excellent drawing studies for learning outline, proportion, shadow shape and practising the sight-size method of measurement.
